Delete Your Account
Last updated on May 8th, 2026
This page explains how to request deletion of your LastMinute account and the personal data associated with it. LastMinute is developed by LastMinute and is available on the web at trylastminute.com, on iOS, and on Android.
Option 1 — Delete from inside the app
The fastest way to delete your account is from within the LastMinute mobile app:
- Open the LastMinute app on your iOS or Android device.
- Sign in with the account you want to delete.
- Tap the Settings tab in the bottom navigation.
- Scroll to the Account section and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.
Once confirmed, your account is closed immediately and the deletion process described below begins.
Option 2 — Email request
If you are unable to access the app, you can request account deletion by emailing us from the address registered to your account:
- Email support@trylastminute.com with the subject line "Delete my LastMinute account".
- Include the email address and full name on the account so we can verify your identity.
We will confirm receipt within 2 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days, in line with the timelines below.
What is deleted
When you delete your account, the following personal data is removed from our production systems:
- Your name, email address, and phone number
- Your profile picture and profile customization (avatar color)
- Your authentication credentials and session data
- Your notification preferences and app settings
- Your messages and direct communications inside the app
- Your time-off and shift-swap requests
- Your association with any organization, team, or schedule on the platform
What is kept, and for how long
A limited set of records is retained after deletion. We keep this data only as long as required and only for the purposes listed:
- Records held by your employer (organization). LastMinute is used by healthcare organizations to manage staff schedules. Schedules, shifts, and historical timekeeping records tied to your employment are owned by your organization and are retained according to their retention policy and applicable employment, payroll, and labor laws — typically up to 7 years. To request deletion of these records, contact your employer directly.
- Billing and tax records. Invoices, payment records, and related financial data are retained for up to 7 years to comply with tax and accounting obligations.
- Security and audit logs. Logs containing limited identifiers (such as account IDs and IP addresses) used for fraud prevention, abuse detection, and security monitoring are retained for up to 12 months and then permanently deleted.
- Anonymized analytics. Aggregated, de-identified usage data that cannot be linked back to you is retained indefinitely.
- Backup snapshots. Encrypted backups may contain residual copies of your data for up to 30 days after deletion. These backups are not used for any purpose other than disaster recovery and are overwritten on the normal backup rotation.
Timelines
- Immediate: your account is closed and you are signed out of all devices.
- Within 30 days: personal data listed under "What is deleted" is removed from our production systems.
- Within 30 days additional: residual copies in encrypted backups are overwritten.
